The 43rd annual National Narrow Gauge Convention was held in Denver, Colorado starting August 30 and running thru September 2, 2023.
This yearly gathering of fans and modelers of narrow gauge railroads is held in different cities each year. Colorado is always a popular location due to the many narrow gauge railroads found in the state, both past and present.
The format followed the standard for conventions with Clinics running from 8 AM until Noon and starting again at 6 PM and running until 10 PM. Layout tours of model railroads in folks homes run from 1 PM to 5 PM and the Vendor floor of folks selling wares is the same time as the various clinics.
A contest room is a highlight of the convention as modelers compete for top honors in a variety of categories.
The days activities are jam packed and there is something for everyone.
