It comes down into the Brooklyn Mine complex which was fun to explore.

These buildings were for mine workers at the Idarado mine complex on Red Mountain and are found by the viewing turnoff near the top of Red Mountain pass |
Some are still intact, but most are falling victim to the winter snows |

Really beautiful! So do they let the houses fall into disrepair or do they try to keep them standing? I saw and electrical box, is there still electricity up there?
