One of the clinics at the 2016 National Narrow Gauge Convention dealt with the scale of 2 foot gauge railroad equipment running on G scale track. G scale track when scaled for two foot gauge track width comes out to be one thirteenth full size. This clinic showed examples of what is known as 7/8th scale or 7/8N2.
I was particularly impressed by the creation of railroad models from utility boxes sold at Staples.
