We traveled to Brooklin, Maine to see the Wooden Boat facility. They are known for their 'Wooden Boat' publication, a magazine that keeps the art of wooden boat building alive.
It turns out there is a whole lot more here than just the magazine publisher and a very nice book store. They offer a school that teaches the art of wooden boat building as well as a fleet of various sized wooden boats that are used for sailing training. We especially enjoyed our stop here.
