Buffalo NY is a town full of architectural treasure. We explored a variety of buildings while there.
Some are private and can be viewed from outside only. Frank Lloyd Wrights Heath house is one such example |
We kept hoping the owner would ses us and say "Come on in", but not to be... |
Ellicott Square was a turn of the century shopping mall with a wonderful lattice girdered ceiling |
We found the old post office just down the block with a similar ceiling |
We went to a twilight tour of the Darwin Martin house and enjoyed seeing the restoration efforts underway there.
The tour starts at the Gardeners house which is pretty well done for a 'working mans' cottage |
