Rio Chama RV Park

Chama, New Mexico is the west terminus of the Cumbres and Toltec Narrow Gauge Steam Railroad. It is a national railroad historic district. Folks travel from long ways to experience the railroad.

Many come in RV's and stay at the Rio Chama RV Park. This campground is located near the north end of the rail yard and offers good views of the trains as they enter and leave the yard.

The campground is owned by a railroad enthusiast who has acquired a variety of narrow gauge equipment and preserved it.
