Midway Village in Rockford Illinois is home to a large doll house collection. The creator of the doll houses was Edna May Taylor, a widely traveled woman who would return from her travels and make doll houses with the correct architecture of what she had seen on that particular trip.
She was well traveled and a prolific doll house maker.
