Northfield Visit

Our oldest daughter and family moved to Northfield, MN to start the next chapter of their life there. We got to visit the very nice town they moved to and learn a bit about their new home. While there we also traveled to Minneapolis and St Paul to check them out too

The downtown portion of town is along the river and quite scenic

We enjoyed the library and train on display

While there we went to a model train show in the twin cities and watched Bennett try out his video and photography skills

The ride on train cars were a big hit

Emery enjoyed his birthday celebration

Bennett and his Uncle Doug

Glasses that allow you to see what is behind you.

Checking out his new chess board

Out to eat and practice coloring

There are 14 miles or so of covered walkways in downtown Minneapolis and St Paul to protect you when moving around the twin cities in winter weather

Interesting video displays with changing images

Great Lego display at the Mall of America

Along the river in Northfield

They have a classic post office in downtown Northfield

There was a bank robbery by Jesse James many decades ago. This is reenacted every year in Northfield. The building has been well preserved over the years.

Malt O Meal is milled in Northfield and the history is preserved

It is a well maintained small town and well worth a visit when you might be up that way
