Durham Museum in Omaha

The former Union Pacific train station in Omaha, Nebraska is now the home of the Durham museum. This is a wonderful place to go to enjoy classic architecture, a museum full of a variety of exhibits ranging from transportation to coinage and a great soda shop with tasty ice cream sundaes.

There are statues throughout the waiting room that have speakers telling the story of the station

This was a surprisingly good place to enjoy an ice cream sundae

The dining room today...

...and in the past.

A wide variety of exhibits are found in the lower level of the station
