We embarked on a quest to find Malachite and Azurite rock based on our rock hunting guide book.
This led us to an easy Jeep trail just north of Ouray Colorado which heads up Dexter Creek road and eventually leads you to the mine tailings of the Senorita Mine. There was quite the selection of interesting rock as well as the shot up remains of a heavy duty truck.
The views of the valley are remarkable and the rock hunting was fun.
