Memories from Europe

Amazing memories come from finding an older and forgotten camera that contained an SD card... We travelled all over Europe in April of 2009 with my sister and her husband. I documented the trip using a Casio Exilim EX-S500 pocket camera. It took great images, but has a fatal flaw in that if the power button is activated while the camera is in a pocket the lens will extend, be blocked by the pocket and strip the gears on the lens. After that it becomes a paper weight.

I kept the camera with the idea of buying a new lens and repairing it but never got around to doing so. While cleaning the other day I found the camera and discovered the long forgotten SD card of images was still in the camera. What a great find to relive memories of a wonderful trip.

I have posted these images mostly as a source for my enjoyment, but you might also enjoy seeing them.

We travelled all over Europe using their wonderful railroad system

I followed the narrow boat canal on a hike thru London

The hike along the canal was beautiful

The canal path hike is on the former towpath used to pull the boats by the draft animals

Many of the canal boat residents enjoy plants on their boats
