Air Force Academy

We visited the Air Force Academy outside of Colorado Springs with my Sister and Brother in Law. Arrived early in the day and had a chance to explore the Visitor Center and the Chapel. There is a very nice trail that connects the two and offers great views.

One of the dormitories for the students.

There is a portion of the grounds that have Bronze castings of WWII aircraft. Very striking examples make for good photography.

Well worth the time to stop and visit, but go soon as the chapel is being closed in the fall of 2018 for several years of renovations.

  1. Great pictures! That chapel is stunning, I wonder what renovations they plan to do? It's nice to see Carol and John.
