The Keeper of the Plains is a metal sculpture located at the confluence of two rivers that run thru Wichita KS.
We met some friends of ours there and then walked to the nearby Wichita Art Museum.
Our friends Mark and Deby |
The entrance to the Art Museum takes you under glass panels that house Chihuly blown glass |
Once inside you can walk on glass floors and inspect the Chihuly glass from above |
A Chihuly glass sculpture hangs from the ceiling |
This reminds me so much of Kansas weather we see often |
We checked out the Richard Marquis glass exhibit |
This was inspired by the camouflage patterns on WWII ships |
I especially enjoy several of the paintings on display |
Nice pictures!
