We enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with our Minnesota Grandsons and check out the activities at the Landmark Center in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota.
Their paternal Grandfather (recently passed) was quite the wood turner so we thought we'd keep that family wood working spark alive by taking the boys to the Wood Turners Museum in the Landmark Center and checking out the beautiful work on display.
Opposite the wood turners museum on the same floor of the Landmark Center is the Schubert Club. This is a very well done musical instrument collection. It appears that some of the rooms are for private practice, but one portion of the exhibit is open to the public where you are able to try out a variety of keyboards and percussion instruments of all kinds
Gongs of all sizes were a special hit with the boys |
Drums and snares were fun to try |
The Landmark Center has quite a few areas of interest and is well worth the time to visit
This is so beautiful dad. I will share with Mary.
