Lake Fork of the Gunnison Canyon

The Lake Fork of the Gunnison river flows thru a pretty canyon on the way to the Blue Mesa reservoir. In years past the narrow gauge railroad traveled thru the canyon into Lake City. The old right of way is now a road thru the canyon.

It is a very peaceful place to spend some time.
