Toledo Ohio is know for its glass making capabilities. Those skills are also part of the art community and result in decorative art in abundance.
The Toledo Art Museum has a glass gallery which is a work of art in itself. The walls are large sheets of plate glass!
Classes in glass making are taught here as well as offering a world class exhibit of glass art pieces.

Beautiful artwork! I can see why you liked this place. That giant white "chili pepper" looking sculpture hanging from the ceiling looks just like the orange one in the art museum up at college, bet the same artist did them both. Were all those pieces for sale, or was it more for display?
