We attended the memorial service for Wes Talbert in Wayne City, Illinois and had the opportunity to take pictures of the gathered family members. Wes led a long a full life and was active in his community and family. He served on a sub chaser in WWII - going to sea/war in a 110 foot long wooden boat was an experience he long remembered. He is missed.
It seems like the only time we all get together is for funerals and weddings...

We noticed a lot of folks with air race pilots text on their T-Shirts in the Hotel lobby and found their home built aircraft were staging for a race to AirVenture in Oshkosh Wisconsin. The airfield was open for viewing.
